Terms and Conditions.
These terms and conditions (‘the Terms’) govern the users (‘you’ or ‘your’) use of the website www.optimumbodymechanic.com (‘the Website’) and your relationship with Optimum Body Mechanic (‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access nor use the Website. If you have any queries regarding these Terms then please contact us.
Payment must be received in full in order for treatment sessions to be booked and to begin. Price changes will only apply to new or returning clients. Prices may be subject to change and the owner reserves the right to adjust prices where necessary. Active clients remain on their current price plan. Active clients are defined as currently receiving treatment and follow up review. Inactive status clients is defined as being discharged, left due to payment cancelled, transferred to external healthcare provider, a period of at least 2 months pass between appointments.
Sessions is defined as time allocated for treatments. It is the clients’ responsibility to book all their sessions required upon booking and payment. Appointments are limited. This includes face to face, phone call or Skype contact. Any unused sessions cannot be rolled over and cannot be refunded.
Cancellations and refunds.
Sessions can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the session. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session will result in the session being lost. To cancel, please email us. Each session can only be cancelled and changed once. If you do not feel an improvement (the way you move/ pain levels/ performance) within the first treatment session, a full refund will be given. There are no refunds prior to the initial session. After the initial session, there are no refunds.
We operate on a satisfaction based guarantee. If within the first session you do not feel we are the best fit for you, let us know and we will offer a full refund. If we feel we are not the best fit or unable to help you. On rare occasions we work with clients that are above our paygrade and we cannot locate the cause in that first session, we will let you know and will offer you a full refund. This is very rare and we are still human!
Once you have been discharged, you also have a 3 month period where if the problem returns, all you need to do is contact us and we will book you in and clear it for free. We offer this because simply of life. We want you to go out there, enjoy life, throw yourself about and if the pain comes back, we’ll clear it for FREE!
At times, external therapists may be contacted for their input into your care. These will be highly experienced therapist with a speciality interest. This specialised input will be requested by your therapist. If you, the client, choose to attend appointments/ treatments/ review with other external therapists or healthcare professionals without informing or consulting your therapist, you run the risk of voiding the guarantee, delaying the improvement of your condition and return to desired lifestyle. We have a very particular skill set and work in a particular way. Ways that other therapists may not understand. If you choose to have input from non authorised (by your therapist or Optimum Body Mechanic) therapist/ healthcare professional, their methods may contradict the treatment you are currently receiving and may even undo the progress, delaying your improvement. We will only subsidise the first/ initial session with these external clinicians. If you prefer to transfer to their care or for further sessions with them, these future session fees will be settled between you and the external clinician.
To get the most benefit and recovery, it is highly recommended the client attends all their sessions. Appointments are limited. By non attendance, you are wasting your session and may be delaying your improvement. Programmes are of a certain length with a set number of visits, these are there to give you the best results. By entering the programme, you are required to be on time for your session. lateness may result in a shorter session time and will affect the guarantee.
Where required, the client will receive their home exercise plan in video format. This will be either filmed on their mobile phone or tablet or filmed and sent on a secure program designed for rehabilitation professionals.
Information will not be shared with any third parties. Details may be used for correspondence with other medical and health professionals regarding your current treatment and care.
